About
MSI-Afghanistan (MSI-A) was established in August 2002. MSI-A is one of the main providers of voluntary reproductive health services in Afghanistan.
Our aim is to reduce maternal mortality and improve health outcomes through providing essential reproductive and child health services and information. MSIA’s has been registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan in August 2002.

Our focus is on providing client centered care services with a comfortable and reassuring experience wherever and whenever they visit us. We also have a service total free (STF) system in place for women who cannot afford or access services.

Who we are
We currently operate clinics in 17 Provinces; Kabul, Balk ,Herat, Kandahar, Helmand, Nangarhar, Faryab, Jawzjan, Takhar, Badakhshan, Samangan, Baghlan, Kundoz, Paktia, Khost, Daikundi, Kapisa which are known as our centers of excellence. These centers provide quality and voluntary reproductive health and family planning services with a full range of additional services for women and children.

Our centres
We currently operate 47 Centres across 17 provinces of Afghanistan. Our centers set the standard for our services. So, we put a lot of thought into their location, design and the way they are run.
We take great care and consideration finding the right clinical team to staff our sites and investing in them to deliver quality, confidential services.

Outreach
Extend services to remote and vulnerable locations (Mobile Clinics) we started providing services in ( 2004 ), each team consists of Doctors, midwives, and a driver who travel to deprived areas with coordination of MOPH.

Private Sector Strengthening
Strengthen public and private sectors through our expertise and providing of FP Comodities. Expanding FP/PAC service provision. In addition, stregthening clincial quality standards of private sector for safe and secure service delivery to ensure client safety.

Policy and Advocacy
We try to play an active role in supporting the policy development/revision that will have the positive health outcomes for women’s and children’s health in the country

Commercial Sales
Through our social marketing channel, we distribute family planning commodites under Aramish brand to facilitate high quality reproductive health products for personal use.
